The Matka long sleeve is based on the iconic Vivienne Westwood Seditionaries cotton gauze shirts from the 1970's. Rendered in 100% silk matka. Matka is a thicker, hand-woven silk cloth that is made from pierced cocoons or rather from cocoons where the silkworm has already emerged. As such, this cloth is considered cruelty free silk.
