The Thrashed Rugby Polo in Black takes the familiar rugby shirt and gives it the treatment of a well-worn archive piece. Made from our heavyweight 100% cotton jersey, each polo is pigment dyed and treated for a sun faded vintage finish, then distressed and finished with hand embroidered rip and repair detailing.
Inspired by the heavily thrashed garments found in vintage and designer archives, the polo recreates the beauty of something worn nearly to destruction but starts with a substantial fabric and construction actually built to last. The repairs become part of the design rather than an afterthought, giving each piece its own irregular character.
